Abstract: |
A practical method for designing an auto squelch circuit is described. The application targets two well kwon markets:
1) The automotive with the Keyless Entry Security products
2) Analog / Digital Radios
This “REJUSTOR”-based design takes advantage of the adjustment capabilities to calibrate both the AGC and the Data Slicer levels. Controlling both levels provides the ability to improve the signal to noise ratio without degrading the system’s sensitivity.
